If you are a frequent visitor to my blog, you know I always begin the organization process with decluttering first. To do that, I want you to first pull everything out of the space you are trying to organize. In this case, let’s empty out the area beneath your kitchen sink.
How to Organize Under the Kitchen Sink
- Pull everything out
- Sort items by category
- Declutter anything you no longer need
- Do a quick wipe down of the cabinet to clean it up
- Consider your space size
- Consider what items you need to store in this area

- First, position and store similar items together.
- Place items that you use frequently near the front
- Place seldom used items in the back
- You can use small plastic bins to group smaller items together
