Fall is my favorite time of year! Each year I get excited to decorate for Fall. Here are 15 Fall home decor ideas to inspire you to get your own home ready for Fall.

15 Fall Home Decor Ideas
1. Pumpkin Displays
- Decorate with pumpkins of various sizes and colors. Opt for classic orange, white, or muted greens. You can scatter them around entryways, mantels, or create centerpieces. You can use plant stands, candle stands, and even cake stands to give them varied heights for a more beautiful display. You can use real or artificial pumpkins. 2. Warm Throw Blankets
- Drape chunky knit blankets or plaid throws over sofas and chairs. Choose autumnal colors like deep reds, burnt oranges, mustard yellows, or rich browns for a cozy vibe. You can even use it on your entryway or dining tabletops as seen in my photo below.
3. Autumn Wreaths
- Hang a wreath made of fall leaves, berries, pinecones, and mini pumpkins on your front door. You can even DIY your own using grapevine and faux foliage. Start at the craft store and let your imagination lead. Use the Fall door hanging photo ideas below.
4. Candles and Lanterns
- Use scented candles (pumpkin spice, cinnamon, or apple cider) to give your home a warm glow and cozy fragrance. If you buy some neutral colored lanterns, you can easily style them for any season.
5. Cozy Pillows
- Swap out your current pillows for ones in fall colors or featuring autumn-themed patterns like leaves, plaid, or harvest quotes. Texture is key, so look for velvets, knits, or faux fur. I scoured my local thrift store for my pillows. I love finding unique pillows I can launder and use for Fall decorating. This year I found some burnt orange ones I love. - Add signs with fall phrases like “Hello Fall,” “Harvest Blessings,” or “Pumpkin Patch.” These can be wooden, chalkboard-style, or metal for a rustic farmhouse look. You can use my photos below.

- Use fall-colored floral arrangements featuring sunflowers, mums, or marigolds in deep reds, oranges, and yellows. Add sprigs of wheat or eucalyptus for texture. - Fill woven baskets with blankets, pumpkins, or firewood. These not only look decorative but also provide practical storage in living spaces.
