HOW TO DEEP CLEAN YOUR KID’S ROOM

1. Gather your cleaning supplies

-cleaning cloths

-furniture polish

-glass cleaner

-fresh sheets

-vacuum cleaner

-trash bag

2.Pick up what does not belong

-throw away trash

-put away items that belong in another room

3.Declutter and pick up

-Pick up and put away anything that is out of place

– clear surfaces of dresser tops and nightstands and put away everything that doesn’t belong

4.Dust furniture – start at ceiling light fixture and work down

-dust and clean off all surfaces of dressers and nightstands

-clean all mirrors and glass

5.Change your sheets

-remove dirty linens from bed

-replace with clean linens

-make the bed

6.Vacuum

-vacuum, sweep, or mop all floors

-use vacuum attachments to clean the edges of your floors right up to the walls

7.Finish up

-take dirty linens to laundry room

-take out trash

-put cleaning supplies and vacuum away
