How To Clean Your Entire House in 1 Hour
Minute 0-5: Gather Your Supplies Start by collecting all the cleaning supplies you’ll need. This includes multipurpose cleaner, microfiber cloths, a mop, vacuum cleaner, trash bags, and any other cleaning tools you prefer. Having everything ready will save you from running back and forth during the cleaning process. Now, go spray your surfaces in your kitchen and bathroom to let them soak while you clean other places. Spray your sinks, tub, showers, toilet, stovetop, and any messy surface that needs to soak. Don’t wipe these yet. You are just letting the cleaning product do the work.
Minute 5-10: Declutter Living Spaces Begin in the living areas. Quickly go through each room and gather any misplaced items. Place them in designated bins or baskets. Focus on surfaces like coffee tables, countertops, and shelves. The goal is to clear the space so that you can easily clean surfaces. If you aren’t sure where something goes, place it in a laundry basket to revisit later. Don’t waste time.
Minute 10-20: Dusting and Wiping Surfaces Grab a microfiber cloth and start dusting surfaces in each room. Wipe down tables, countertops, and other visible surfaces. Don’t forget to dust electronics, picture frames, and other decorative items. If needed, use a multipurpose cleaner for stubborn spots. You can make quick work of dusting by using a duster. Unless the surfaces are dirty or sticky, the duster should be enough.

Don’t forget to sweep or vacuum the kitchen floor. Focus on the exterior of your appliances. Don’t clean the interior unless you have extra time. Remember, we are cleaning the entire house in 1 hour. Minute 40-45: Bathroom Blitz Now it’s time to tackle the bathrooms. Because you already sprayed your surfaces in step 1, this should be easy work now. Wipe down sinks, countertops, and mirrors.
